Winescorecard is dedicated to helping the typical wine consumer navigate massive number of wines on the market.

We help wine consumers by matching their historical taste preferences with that of other users using our proprietary PalatePrint™ technology. We use these matches to generate wine ratings and suggestions that are custom tailored for our members. This provides consumers the information they need to try new wines that they will probably enjoy while at the same time not wasting money on wine that does not fit their palate.

We help the wine industry by providing free brand awareness opportunities through our vineyard information pages and free wine listings. In addition, our experiential marketing approach lets wine producers and distributors specifically target consumers that are predisposed to enjoy their product. Our co-founders have a combined 20 years experience in data mining and machine learning and over 10 years as avid wine drinkers. Winescorecard officially launched our public Beta in October of 2007, but only started limited advertising at the end of May in 2008.
